We are Christians from Trenčín and the surrounding area who believe we are part of God’s story. That is why we want to celebrate God, love people, and serve the city of Trenčín 24/7. We long to live with God not only on Sundays at church, or when we read the Bible, or when we pray, but in everything we do. Because we believe that Christianity is not primarily about what we do, but about who we are. And who we are affects everything we do.

We celebrate

Every one of us worships something and looks for happiness somewhere—in success, relationships, money, or ourselves. Yet none of it truly satisfies us, because we have turned away from the God we were created for. We believe the good news about Jesus Christ: God came to rescue us anyway, so that in Him we could finally find what we had been searching for in vain. God is most glorified in us when we find our deepest joy in Him.

We love

Truly loving others, not only when we feel like it, is beyond our own strength. But we ourselves have experienced God’s sacrificial love, which we did nothing to deserve and which was proven on the cross. This love changes us and gives us the strength to love the people around us sincerely and sacrificially, as one family.

We serve

We don’t want to be just a closed-off group of people for ourselves. What we have found in God is too good to keep to ourselves. We want Christ’s love and peace to reach directly into the streets, neighborhoods, and families of Trenčín. We want the gospel to change the lives of truly everyone, not just us.
